Phil Marchese The Matchbox Fortress has the most accurate and thoughtfully designed fuselage of any 1/6" scale kit. There are no notorious trenches on the fuselage. Those inscribed panels panels are far less obtrusive than tose foubd in the 2012 resease. The wings are a bit flat in airfoil but are correctly located. This is not so on the Hasagawa kit and questionable on other offerings. The wings themselves are seeming of a whole different design and are inferior. Hasegawa donors can be adopted since that offering fuselage is also grossly mis-sculpted. The clear parts are universally described as thick. There are plenty of examples on the web of this kit built out of the box and the basic fedility of the Matchbox Fort is self-evident.
