NOTS - 1958 US Satellite Launch Vehicle

This is some beautifully cast resin. No imperfections at all. Based on my research, I'd recommend using 0747 rather than what the decals provide. 745 was also at NOTS China Lake during that time period and was involved in the Project Pilot, but it looks like 745 was repainted in the gull gray over white by that time. 747 was definitely still in the blue and was definitely involved in launching live Pilot rockets. My kit came from New Ware with two decal sheets so the change is easy, but I don't know if all the kits come that way or if I just got lucky.

When I get to the decaling phase, I will post an update on how they are to work with, but they look very sharp and fairly thin.
