It seems the markings provided in the kit are for Pearl Harbor, not Midway. They are the same as found in the "Tora! Tora! Tora!" boxing from Eduard. Also, Lt. Fusata Iida died in Pearl Harbor.

Why is this labeled Minicraft? This is the Academy product code and Academy tooling. As far as I know Minicraft has ceased operations in Nov 2022. Changing this to Academy.
