Anthony D'AgostinoI bought a set of these, not really knowing what I was buying, mostly an impulse buy. Anyway, they seem nice, but I have, ZERO experience with resin. They are very light and the feathers are very thin, so be careful once you separate them from their base, it will be very easy to break them. I wish I had waited to remove the base, but after getting tips on resin, I was excited to practice what I had learned. Now I need to put them somewhere safe, or they will be broken. The detail is nice on the feathers and compressor faces, but the instructions are far from perfect. The notches shown on the nozzle and the exhaust tube (not sure the correct name) dont even match up. It looks like the three notches fit the three groves, but they don't fit. So, not sure what that will lead too, maybe the engines will be too long, in that case, I will have to cut the engine down to make it fit. That will leave me a bjt angry. I plan to contact the company before I try assembly, just to see if they can clarify why the notches don't match the nozzles.
In hind sight, I would probably gone with the aires kits, they have some really nice looking upgrades to the engines and cockpit. Oh well, I do have two of the kits, so maybe I will build the other with a combination of aires and big ed.
Goodluck to anyone who has these, and if you figure out how they go in, please let me know.
Thanks in advance,

Anthony D'AgostinoThanks bigtime, saves me the trouble of trying to contact the company for details!
Upon viewing your set, then inspecting mine, I realized that I missed the very thin line indicating where I still need to remove material from the internal nozzle, leaving behind the stubs, then it should align up with the engine. Thanks a million!
Also, there are two compressor faces in mine, but one has a lot of resin at the base, and I figured it would just flat sand that until the details became hollow. If you need a picuture of the part, let me know, I will try to post it on my page, or direct you to its location on britmodeller.com. I will have to figure out how to add photos, as I am still new to scalemates.
The first time I visited this site, I was BEYOND confused. Now that I am starting to understand it, I am in love, it is the end all be all of modelling needs. Then you have the help of people like you, making it that much better!
