A.F.S. Mk II

My first dip into Ma.K so thought I'd start at the beginning with the Nitto Series 1 Armoured Fighting Suit. It's an old kit and had some issues with soft plastic being eaten too much by Tamiya Extra Thin so lots of filling and sanding. Had a bit of a disaster during final assembly where the helmet wouldn't fit at the front and I was a bit too heavy handed which caused the front of the helmet and the screen to shatter into a "million pieces" so the A.F.S. Mk I (Nitto series 3) 'donated' some of it's helmet to finish this one. Really happy how the custom base turned out.
