[WIP] Hobbyboss 1/48 F-14A

Decals for the instrument panel in Hobbyboss' 1/48 F-14A kits are very wrong scale wise.  

Instrument panel decals never fit. I had to cut most of the decals and managed make them work somehow. 

This is the result. Not bad I think.  

Wheel-well covers don't fit well when it is closed. Had to do some sanding and applied generous amount of putties.  

 

 

Decided to hand carve some details in the exhaust nozzle. 

Not bad if you look at it at a distance. 

All painted and installed
