It looks good but it still needs lots of sanding  

Sculpting his ankle a little here. 

Doing most of the sanding with a cotton bud and water. There is no dust. relaxing and fun. I am trying make seam work easier, and enjoying the process.. 

 

 

A bit of sanding needed on his foot to smooth out the ridge.. 

I think it’s now ready for primer, and another round of filling and sanding.. We’ll see how well I did in the first round

My DIY spray booth, running strong for 5 years now. Cost around $50 to make.  

I’m using my Paasche Talon 0.5 here for lots of coverage, like a rattlecan. Sometimes I don’t use the needle at all.
Laying down the primer extra thick, for sanding.

This side was closer to the mark.. 

Those tiny gaps are hard to fill.. 

I figured this was good enough, since the uniform will be silver, and hopefully hide the seam further

I used Rub’Buff silver for his uniform. For the skin I made a thin purple wash with oil paints and gloss medium over the grey
