i will be more worried about where to place it after finished... well price will be something to consider, specially since it will be nice to add the bigEd set.....

about the wings, you may want to add some metal tubes for example, to give it some strength. i have seen people doing it for this kind of big ladies....

To wings I will add wooden struts - something like Nautilus produced for this model. From PE I'll only add pliot seatbelts, exterior PE and antennas from Eduard

That's an interesting kit and since it's so big I'll be happy to watch you build it instead 🙂
Nice interior! Too bad it probably won't be so visible anymore.

Tedious yes, but worth it in the end. As the saying goes, "Its all in the preparation". 🙂

like you project so far! are the wings support really that flimsy? or are you just making sure nothing happens?

Unfortunately, they are! Underside main wing part is very fiddly, and upper wing parts only connected by their structural ends, therefore all the wing structure technically will be connected by thin glue seams, so there is a possibility of warping of the whole wing, or simple disconnectings of parts from each other during the construction, due to their size and weight.

That wing spar looks just the job, I was thinking of a length of 5mm brass rod.

The update may shock some of you)) I did have this idea nearly from the start of the build, but kept it as a secret) This is a pure improvisation, based on some of my references and fantasies, but still, I did want to represent the plane's graceful forms throught it, and still making it as some "what if" luftwaffe scheme. The work on scheme is still in process!

Great looking paint, Dmitriy! The masking might have been tedious, but the end result was definately worth it!

Thank you all for your kind words! Spanjaard, believe it or not, I didn't even have a draft. This just the way I work - slowly constructing the idea and the look in my mind, and then just making it at once) Though I must say, that I did have some of my references in front of me - but they were mostly an inspiration, not some patterns to copy.
