1/700 Carrier Kaga builds

first build was the old hasegawa kit, had to remove all raised details and re-scribe the entire deck, a lot of work.. 

 

the fujimi kit was a vast improvement and first build only used generic PEs 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Built a triple deck Kaga in between, a rather basic build 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The most recent build with Fujimi's own PE set - strangely enough Fujimi never released a midway version of Kaga with the markings. Even their 'midway package' is just a rebox of the first kit. Lazy!
