February 6, 2017Love that bright red box!2
February 6, 2017The sprues look quite good.3
February 6, 2017First few parts cut and primed.4
February 15, 2017Blanked off the second seat to turn this into a fighter.5
February 15, 2017Added some "radio equipment-like bits" to the blanked off portion of the cockpit.6
March 16, 2017Looks pretty good painted and in place.7
March 16, 2017Wheel wells and landing gear installed and the fuselage glued together.8
March 18, 2017Added the putty and a bit of sanding. Fit is pretty good except that I misaligned it a bit while trying to squeeze the wings on.9
March 22, 2017Primer's on... but looks like I missed a few spots. A bit more putty should fix that.10
March 23, 2017Now for a coat of bare metal aluminum.11
March 25, 2017Cockpit enclosed... then opened... then enclosed... then opened... then enclosed... why can't I remember all the parts at once!?12
April 4, 2017A layer of hairspray and now for the first camouflage coat... let's hope this works!13
April 6, 2017This camouflage technique worked before... so let's try it again!14
April 6, 2017First camouflage layer is on... one more to go.15
April 7, 2017Second coat of camouflage. Looks not bad... now comes the tricky bit.16
April 8, 2017Okay... so I rubbed really gently with a wet brush trying to loosen the top coat of paint. I removed paint, but I'm not quite sure if I ended up removing just the top coat or all of it down to the white primer base.17
