Towed Gun (PaK 35/36) Group Build

Unboxing... ready to rock!  

And we're off! First task is to remove the barrel to make way for the PE barrel.  

 

Needed to chock up this piece behind the barrel so it aligned correctly.  

Need to bevel this out so it will sit properly. Also had to reshape the end where the barrel connects as the plastic didn't have the full barrel.  

Will need to glue the barrel in place. Not sure whether to do that before or after painting the plastic. 

Going to attempt to put more detail into this... 

Not as good as I'd hoped, but I'm happy enough. May not even end up using this piece. 

 

 

 

 

This after coats of Mr Surfacer Black, SMS Aluminium, hairspray and Tamiya German Grey.  

Water and various brushes were used to get the chipping effecg 

Gun completed. Soldiers to come...
