after the paint, I started puting decals all over the panels to create the depth of smaller panels within. I will post more photos.

Outstanding paint. You say you applied decals for it. Are they from the kit, or did you make them yourself?
See you

Thanks Lionel, I made the decals in my computer and printed them on a lasser printer and clear decal paper. The patern of the lines is random so no panel looks the same, plus I printed some darker extra panels to brake any patern shown. I will post more pictures soon.

I havent glued togather the pieces yet, the aft part is complete, still working on the decals of the upper fucelage. I had to ad plastic trips to the base of the tower since it left a big gap and I didnt want to use filler, I still have to paint the strips and sand a little bit the stripes.

This is finaly done. it took me more than 36 hours (over a 6 year period time...droping and retaking the project) to put all the decals. I hated using future as gloss base, but finaly i got and used Alclad gloss varnish to seal and the alclad matte varnish to finish and it looks great

Well done! Beautiful detail. Adding the lines with pencil must have taken some time!

Thank you, glad you liked it. It wasnt pencil, it was printed decal, panel by panel.

Looks awesome! I am going at a similar pace with my X-wing 🙂 Will be pleased if it comes out half as good as this 👍
