The Enterprise Incident

December 6, 2020A 31 year old vintage kit, crude by today’s standards. So much sanding, so much filler, so many imperfections. It feels like I’m actually carving the ships myself out of soap or something. A real challenge. I hope I can make them look decent.2

January 8, 2021Sorry for my ugly grotesque claw, I’m recovering from second degree burns to my hand.

December 12, 2020This is the point where I pause, usually for a long time trying to figure out how to not fuck it up.. And then I see a sign post up ahead.. and crossover into the Twilight Zone..17
January 8, 2021I had a slight airbrush malfunction and had to completely redo the Warbird.
I used Tamiya acrylic thinner for the first time, and it reacted to the Model Masters silver causing a rip in the space-time continuum which sent me hurling back to square one..
I should have tested an unfamiliar product before I went straight to the model... I was getting too cocky..
