5January 9, 2019Taped the mast/sail in place temporarily.
6January 9, 2019Added a bit of sprue to the prow... now then, what modifications need to be done?
7January 11, 2019First major modifications. Cut down the upper level railing and cut the deck to move the mast forward.
8January 11, 2019There. That’s better... mast far enough forward and the hatch in front of it.
9January 12, 2019Boxed in the cockpit... err... lower deck. It won’t be terribly visible, so it’s limited to the area under the now-open hatch.
10January 14, 2019Painted the lower deck and added a few boxes. Just enough to hint at more.

12January 14, 2019Does the mast look straight? Since I only need one, the smaller second one will be put to use as the bowsprit.
13January 15, 2019The railing needs to be thicker, so glueing and clamping is in order.

15January 19, 2019Removed the over hang and reworked the stern.
16January 19, 2019Put banding around the mast and started shaping out the bowsprit.

18January 20, 2019Now, time to load up some cargo. I won’t be able to get at it once the upper deck is secured,
19January 21, 2019First paint down on deck. I mainly need to reach the area under the upper deck so I can attach it and sand it flush.
20February 4, 2019Aye aye, capt’n. The cargo is all accounted for!
21February 5, 2019Time to paint the various bits of cargo various colours.
22February 5, 2019Painted the sidewalls and then glued all the cargo back in place, more or less.

24February 5, 2019Now that the upper deck can be glued in place, I can get to work on blending in the stern.

32April 8, 2020First bit of rigging done, and I've already pulled the mast off of plumb.
33April 10, 2020Rigging done... thank god. And added a couple of little sarcophagi... Tintin and Snowy-sized.

35April 12, 2020A bit of clear silicone, some clear blue/green Tamiya acrylic paint... and we've got water.
