My goal was to mostly recreate the Tomcat shown in the 1980 movie The Final Countdown. I had only seen the movie once but left an impression and enjoyed the concept. VF-84 went on to be a favorite squadron of mine to follow.

In the end the bird is not an exact replica due to limits with the decals I could.find.
