Ten years after a virus outbreak that killed 90% of the population.
Somewhere in Korea. Loosely based on the movie (FLU 2013)

Took some time to finish this project, wasn't satisfied with the build. After putting it aside for a while I came up with better idea's.

Got the idea when I watched a Korean movie "FLU (2013)" it's about a virus outbreak, thought it might be a challenge to translate it to the current Covid-19 pandemic diorama.

Started today with the vending machines, wastebin and a concrete footbridge making the last one from scrap.

Update on my FLU progress, figured it out how I want to give shape to the project. Watched a lot of info about Korean buildings and post apocalyptic cars. I hope the real pandemic is over before I finish.

Latest update, unfortunately I have to go back to The Netherlands for (I hope) a short while. Designed and 3D printed the building fronts. used in half cur tiny straws for the roofs, and balsa wood for a more realistic look. Mini's are from Yufan Model in China. Pavement is made from 3mm cork. Foot bridge is made of sand and cement, the maze I soldered with tinned copper wire and the holes in de cement I made by putting some lumps of furniture wax in the molds, after drying you can put it in hot water and voila, there are the holes. I'm almost finished, i took a long time nd I changed the complete project. I'm very satisfied now. Will place the pictures this week.
