Some weird mold fail... 

 

Bottom engraved before sanding to keep most panellines 

First half topside also engraved, other side still to do 

Filled and sanded 

Wings almost ready

Opening much further back according to theinstructions

Looks good from here 

Still a gap, but fixable with a spacer inside
