I've got a couple of cars done already, this one is underway and many more in the stash.
I think I have a disadvantage versus the specialist builders. My stash contains plenty models of a variety of topics. Planes, ships, trains, trucks, cars and even some armour. But yes, it bit me too 👍

Martin Oostrom@James. My stash is tiny compared with yours, 55 vs 405 kits. I told the mrs I need to catch up, for some reason she disagrees 😄 We do have 2 kits in common, the Academy Catalina and the Aussie truck!
@Nathan, thanks. It actually was a bit of a disappointment, as the shop showed it as 1:24, but she is 1:32.

Martin OostromSo I channeled my inner Augie today. Purely brush painting! Painted the seats, carpeting, dashboard, interior doors and the hubcaps.

Peter HardyIf you can replicate Augie's brushwork I'll stand on my head and sing Waltzing Matilda! Anyway, pink upholstery gets me every time, I'm in! I am so masculine it's embarrassing sometimes.

Martin OostromI need a new jar with elbow grease, any suggestions where to get High quality stuff?
So, after two hours of polishing, I am VERY happy with the result. I was quite doubtful after the initial pink and gloss coat. The bonnet and boot were very grainy. After the polish, I kinda regret of not putting more effort in the pink. That's life!
Question: I'm done polishing. With what do I clean the body? Regular water, dish washing soap? Something else?

There are some air vents at the end of the bonnet, just before the windscreen wipers. What colour should those be?
