I've not met a modeller yet, who can attempt something new, and get it perfect, first time? It's simply a learning curve, but we have to try. We learn from our mistakes, and try things differently, next time. It takes guts, to dirty a perfectly good clean car, and that's what you've tried here. I see no problems with trying to get the look that you want? Mistakes will happen, and even the most experienced of builder, will try harder, for perfection. I say Bravo, for your efforts. It looks like it's done it's job, and it's now ready for a wash and a full service. Nice work mate 👍

Nice work. The decals must have been tricky on this one, but you pulled it off well. Weathering makes model cars definitely more interesting and realistic, especially for these cars which were hand made prototypes that were build for performance, not to look shiny and pretty.
