Gosh! Lucas...
Looks like I could jump straight in it and drive away, well done Lucas!!!😄
I've had a couple of the real ones myself...
One of the ones I had was an MGC, nearly exactly the same, but with a lump and a teardrop bulge in the bonnet, the lump was to accomodate a relocated radiator, the bulge for bigger and more carbs.
The MGC had a straight 6, 3 litre engine reason for lumps and bumps in bonnet.
It was produced between 1967 until it was stopped in 1969 only 9,002 were made, wish I still had mine!!!
Who produced that kit Lucas???

Thanks, guys! Steve--the kit is the old Aoshima kit (re-popped by Revell and Airfix). They make both the chrome grill and rubber bumper MGBs. I got the rubber bumper kit, as it has the parts to build both versions. The kit is hard to find these days--I had to hunt on eBay for a few months before finding one that was not insanely expensive. The kit comes with wire wheels, so I got the white metal Rostyle wheels from South East Finecast. I also got the mirrors from SE Finecast, as the kit comes with round ones instead of the square ones used in the '71 model.

This is the MGB with Rostyle wheels that my wife's uncle owned back in the 70s.
