L->R: Fuel tanks which require some further work. Engine with further details such as the carburettor, rocker drain lines and ignition leads. Bottom right is attempt at fuel booster pump and filter 

 

This is now my third (and I'm also saying final) attempt at the framing. I've corrected the angle and I think it looks better now.added a platform, aerial and the base for the light. what I believe to be avionics boxes are made from milliput and detailed 

Tail rotor needs thinning down but more or less done. Tail rotor drive shaft from brass tubing with larger brass tubing sleeves and plasticard 

These sections are all ready for priming 🙂 although I need to add a small detail to the gearbox 

Fuel tanks also ready for priming (they weren't ready when I took the previous photo). Vent and drain lines will be added when in situ  

My first adventure into vacforming. I made a new mould as the old one was brittle 

Mk.1 of canopy. I'm happy with the shape but the plastic looks 'dimpled' - still working on this 

Dry fit to help figure out the best sequence to build this. As you can see the photo was taken prior to the fuel tanks being finished
