This actually turned out very well, I'm very happy with it, but the picture doesn't do it justice. Barely visible in the final build though

Loading in the pilot 

In order to secure the cockpit, I needed to add some spare sprue as anchors. Nothing really holds it in otherwise. 

Another fit issue, the gun covers on one side are completely misshapen 

But its nothing a little putty can't fix 

The tail landing gear piece is equally odd, leaving a big gaping hole into the fuselage. 

Everything built, ready to begin painting 

The few extra pieces that need to be primed with the body 

First coat of paint. The blue I used (MM Insignia Blue) is a little darker than I'd like, so tomorrow, I'm going to pick up something lighter and try again 

Very happy with how the paint job turned out 

I redid all the blue with Cobalt Blue, which I like much better. 

Assembly complete, and all painting done
