So is this a new tool or an old tool? I'm seeing conflicting messages in the comments. If it's a new tool color me interested!

Edit: I was confused by the discussion a bit down, but the 'old tool' mentioned was the airfix 1:72.

Love to see people shocked by the pylons. It's goofy but extremely characteristic of this cool plane!

Am I jumping the gun by wondering how this release will compare to Kitty Hawk’s offering? Pretty sure that was quite an improvement over Airfix’s original but given what they’ve been putting out as of late…

Kittyhawk might have had nicely fine moulding detail. which will be better than airfix. but i have read on various forums. And covered to death on Britmodeller. the kittyhawk was a nightmare to build with bad fitting parts. Zimi models have aquired kittyhawk. so their entire range may work its way back out again

Gotcha. I've had a copy of KH's GR.1/GR.3 in the stash, but it just hasn't progressed onto the build stack. I'm sure I will pick up a copy of this release as well. Damn OCD.

I would have been interested in the proposed 1/32nd Jag they were planning on releasing. But I think they were already in financial difficulty at that point. And never made it past cad renders

I've got the KH Jag in build atm and although I would say I'm a competent amateur modeller the KH Jag goes together OK.

These kits are too old (check her on scalemates) with too much errors. 1/72 mainscale new tool correct Jaguar was expected.
The same was with the buccaneer, but there they took the right way first 1/72 than 1/48.

Right way? There is no such thing as mainscale...There are other scales as "main" as 1/72. Also, 1/72 wasd YOUR expectation...Mine was 1/32. Stop trolling...

Because 1:48 doesn't match you preferred scale is your own problem. And the fact that 1:72 is the most popular scale for aircraft doesn't make it the "mainscale" 1: is the mainscale unlike 0.5:72, 2:72, etc

VERY BAD CHIPPING
Wtf it has missiles on top of the wing?! Looks too goofy for my taste. Does it have a scheme that doesn’t have missiles on the above?

Check this Revell kit: Sepecat Jaguar GR.1A (Revell 04996, 1:48)
You can leave them off, I guess. But it happened in other types too, check BAC Lightning.
