Porsche 911 Turbo '88

The 1988 Porsche 911 Turbo—an icon of the Autobahn, synonymous with speed, precision, and engineering excellence. This Tamiya kit may lack an engine and take a few liberties with its interior, but it nails the 911’s unmistakable silhouette, from its sloping roofline to the signature Turbo whale-tail spoiler.

For the exterior, I tackled black—the most unforgiving colour in modelling. It’s a shade that highlights every imperfection, but with patience and care, I think I’ve managed a finish that does the car justice. Straightforward as the build may have been, the challenge lay in refining those details and bringing Porsche's timeless design to life.
