Even it is a wonderful kit there are some fitting issues. Most of the "small" items are ready for painting.

During the weekend I painted some of the small things. The leading edges of the elevators are in natural titanium. I mixed steel, aluminium and a drop of brass to get this colour.

Playing around with some metallic colours to make the base of the exhausts more interesting. Later most of the effects will probably covered by a black, smokey tint.

The exhausts got a first layer of smoke and black oils. I´ll enhance this effect further more.

The pink coloured window sealings didn´t turn out as desired (and look even slighter in the picture) so I need to do another round with a more pronounced pink. Anyway, I was quite surprised that the Eduard masks cover this specific detail. I just bought them because of laziness and discovered this feature after opening the set.
