Lost in Space The Robot

Every journey begins with a single step  

I did some sculpting, casting of rocks by Woodland Scenics. Many different textures, lots of oil washes and pigments, installed a battery pack in a base, simple soldering and wiring.. learning is a bitch ?

I like to work in the shadows sometimes instead of intense light. 

I could call it complete right here and be happy with it. 

This was the first idea, much to be desired..

I dyed some lichen with red ink.. 

A study in texture.. How can I improve this?
