A simple kit, but difficult to get a good result. I did an awful job of one of these 20 years ago, thankfully tamiya was nice enough to re-pop it so I could try again 🙂

Hehe "switch" is a bit generous. It's 2 tiny wires hidden under the rear bumper. A bit of fiddling with tweezers to turn on!

I'm happy with it 🙂 I might try some smaller wheels. I lowered it 2mm, but it still sits a bit high. I think the rims are (scale) 20".

I don't remember... I know I lowered the ride height. That was easy, I just filed the axle holes in the chassis a couple of mm. I think after lowering, the Tamiya R34 disks will slip into place and can be glued. It wasn't difficult. I guess it depends what parts you have in your junk box.

I changed the wheels after taking these pics. It's got fujimi r32 wheels now, they're a bit smaller and the styling suits the era better.

Thanks for replying! l also pick up r32 (not nismo) wheels except they are from tamiya which are almost the same size as the originak ones. l uploaded some pics in my album to illustrate how l attach the wheel to the shaft.

Ah, that is tricky to do. I also have the Tamiya r32 wheels but decided fitting was to hard. I look forward to seeing how yours turns out.
