I recently purchased this kit because, even though it is an old one, it is still a nice kit to build. I also really like the PE set you have used. Could you tell us which one you have used? Is it a set from Voyager?

Yeah, Dragon seems to do things in "waves". Release a thousand King tiger variants, then release 10.000 Tiger variants, then a few hundred Panzer IV's ... etcetera 😉

I am indeed planning to buy a few of the Brummbär kits later this year. This old kit was just a lucky catch. I bought it for just a couple of euros ( otherwise I probably wouldn't have bothered😉 ).

But like you say, maybe I should just wait for them to release a new Smart kit 😄 good tip!! 👍 😄

John, it is a Lion Roar PE set, I think it is a PE has been stopped production. I bought this kit and PE set in 2001. And thank you!

Aaah! Yes! Lion Roar. Is it the LE35045 set? I hope so, because I know someone who sells it 🙂 and you are probably right to think they are no longer producing this set (which I can fully understand). So there's not much use in asking my reseller of they can order it 😉

@Kaiyu Chen: Yes, this particular guy (he's not really a professional reseller) has some serious connections & stock 🙂 whenever I need something that's hard or impossible to find I ask him.

As it happens I have started building the Cyber Hobby #9131 Orange Box Jagdpanzer IV A-0 out of the box (no extras whatsoever) to kill time while I'm waiting for the paint of my Sd.Kfz.250 to dry 😉 And it has the exact same lower hull and suspension/wheels as the Brummbär kit. It is a really nice, good looking build! 👍
