1/32 Revell BF109G6 Super detailed build.

A quick dry fit of the Bog standard kit. Goes together fairly easily, and you can make a very nice kit straight from the box.  

Got this second hand still sealed for £15, bargain.  

I've always liked the silhouette of the 109, since I was first interested in planes as a child. Most of the nose and spinner will be replaced, full engine added, control surfaces changed, resin wing insert, metal undercarriage, resin wheels, might have a go at adding rivets too.  

This build will have full open engine detail, top and bottom, resin prop, cockpit, wheels, control surfaces, brass landing gear, I've also got several different decal schemes to choose from.  

The now fairly old and hard to find AlleyCatModels Resin Upgrades. Found this fairly cheap so picked it up, as there may be parts I cam use for this build.  

Eduard Brassin landing gear. 

 

Rivets, for the rivet counters. Thought I'd give this a go. Probably won't show up very well, but I'll have a try at it.
