Bryn, I met the pilot who flew this aircraft at an airshow in Australia. He was a very nice guy so I had to build his aircraft even though it was not at the airshow.

He told me about the dual squadron markings on the tail to represent both squadrons based in Misawa. He was actually really good with my son and gave him stickers etc. Really, really nice guy. He was a credit to the USAAF.

Building this Misawa version after meeting CO of the Wing at Melbourne Airshow 2017. Hell of a nice bloke. Markings won't be exactly as per his Bird. Will be as close as I can get.
