just to be sure what to remove, alter or keep 😉 

thinned the upper wings with an old scalpel to approx. 1/3 of the original thickness 

removed the existing wheelbays with a scriber, thinned the wall also to 1/3 of the original thickness 

a lot of material to be removed from the resin bays... maybe a little to much... 

Flush fit on this side 

flush fit with the green border... 1mm gap on the indicated side 

so more filling and sanding 

 

must the indicated plate be removed to place the cockpit? In other words, must the cockpit be placed flush with the raised part?
