Quick assembly, the kit is snapfit so most of the kit can be assembled without any glue required and I can pull elements out without ripping it apart.

Engineering isn't too different from what you'd expect from a helicopter kit. Fit is a bit eh, I had to use black CA to fill in the gaps and file it off with a metal file.

Cockpit frame welded in now. Painted the figures, its been a while since i've done any figures this small let one any with a clear view of the face. Might have to practise mini painting at some point before I mess up some of my tamiya figures.

Primed and black based. The wings were absolutely tedious, winged it in the end.

Treehugger
I have the Bandai 1:48 X-Wing kit, and although it is a nice kit (disregarding the toy'ish motor for moving wings creating an issue with precision), it seems like one has to be careful when putting things together, making sure the parts are fully connected. I have yet to airbrush my X-wing, but I thought I'd do it later. Wouldn't be surprised if there might be tiny gaps here and there in the end if not using glue.

Mental note: Buy some black CA glue. Seems like something one would need to better see the hard glue on the surface.
I did order some "UV glue" today, but haven't tried it so far.
