Amazing. I am not able to open several of your pics. (14 15 16 18 19 20 & 21 )They may need to be reuploaded. It would be a shame we miss your work !

This is fantastic! 👍 👍 Cutting the waves out of the wood is really unique and requires advance skill I believe. As J D wrote I would also add some (scared) seamen. The shape of the waves looks super realistic. The only thing that I would do is add some water foam/spray at the front. Just because I think if a ship pushes through such a big wave it will also result in some "forward directional" spray. In pic#2 the perspective shows best what I mean: The boarder between water and ship looks "dryer" than in other sections of your scene. Sorry for the long text, feel free to ignore since you are the artist here!

What magic is this? 😲 WOW! Are you sure you haven't just miniaturised the real thing? This is spectacular 👏 and using a sliding mitre saw seems genius to me too. I just use mine for decking! Haha 😆 Awesome stuff 👏

Thanks!
Stephan: JD was commenting on the crew that are present. There's a scene in the book where a crewman brings mugs of cocoa (because they're Brits) up to the two watch standers on the bridge during some heavy weather. Those three crewmen are present on the model. You can see them all in the third photo. No one else would be mad enough to be out in the open at the time.

Hereby I apologize to the brave crew facing such rough conditions. I have to work on my zoom skills 🙂
