ricmac50I don't know if I am directing this question to the right person or department but how do I go about inquiring about this model, F-8 Crusader, SCALE CRAFT MODELS, 1:48 scale, Kit # 4011. Who do I contact in regards to making a purchase of this or this type model on line. My understanding is that this website does not sell models or product, is this correct!

This is correct. Scalemates is not a shop. If you open the product page of the specific kit you are looking for you can scroll down and there are two possibilities for you. In the middle of the product page there is a "market place" section. If you are lucky someone listed this kit for sale/trade and you can contact him. Or you could also contact members which have this kit in their stash. A list of members which own the kit is displayed almost at the bottom of the product page. Last but not least you can also leave a comment directly on the product page (as you did) and maybe someone will contact you.

ricmac50My brothers birthday is coming up in two months and he is a fanatic about the F-8 Crusader, I would like to purchase this model if someone has it on hand, F-8 Crusader, 1:48 scale by SCALE CRAFT MODELS, Kit # 4011. You may ask, why don't I buy on line because there are very, very few models in this scale, most are 1:72. Please advice....
