nice camo, how did you apply it? Pics are upside-down, don't know if this can be changed?

My Iphone orientates the images. I made stencils for the pattern and applied with the airbush. The pictures don't show all the greens and additional colours. I tried to simulate a birch tree inbetween summer and autumn.

Hi Dale,
your scheme is not so much a Fantasy scheme, it Looks like the good old "Ambush-Camo"!😢
How was the build? Amusing Hobby kits are much fun, arnt they?

The kit is okay if you add Dragon Parts. If you Have a closer look the green areas have at least four greens in birch pattern as do the browns.

Have you brush painted the camo pattern? Or applied it with a sponge?

Hi Holger, Gerald and Spanjaard.
Thanks for you interest and kind words.
Sorry Holger for some reason I did not see your post before now. The camo was sprayed on. I made custom masks out of plastic card and sprayed the scheme on. There are roughly 4 green colours, 3 red brown and custom highlights for dunkelgelb. It took a bit of patience to do and a number of sessions. I am still working on this to add stowage, external machine guns and to weather at some stage.

Hi Dale, no worries!😢 The outcome of your camo is really cool. I´ll copy your idea, if i ever do a paper panzer again. And that will be soon. I love the Amusing Hobby kits!😄 I´m looking forward to see your Baby finished. Will you put it into a diorama?

Thank you Sebastian & Edward for your comments.
Holger give it a go for something different.
I have a few amusing hobby kits, their version of the Panther II, the Panther (t-34) etc.. They are great kits and let you make up your own camo schemes as there is no historical reference. As for the Dio I am not sure, maybe a vignette in the future.

Wow . amazing modell. The camo is fantastic. Which gun and needle did you use to spray these tiny dots?

Thanks Norbert.
I made a mask out of plastic card. For general work I use my old trusty favourite VL pasche 0.3mm for finer work I use my HP-C Iwata or a crappy Delta I have. I am thinking about buying a Evolution Silverline to complement my Iwata.
Thanks Norbert.
