Looking great already Simon. And a mighty project inventory too! Following for sure!
Thanks a lot my firends 😁
I can't say exactly why, but I think paper tanks are kind of fun.... 😉
@Tom: The rear area had actually been planned to be much less muddy.
The first thought was that only the depression should be filled with water.
I wanted to add some acrylic water effects for refinement, when the cap of the bottle came loose during application.. as a result, most of the base and unfortunately a few areas of the tank were flooded.
But I was still lucky in misfortune and was still able to turn the tide👍- otherwise it would probably have ended up in the trash....
A new highlight from you. Well built and the ground with the lower and the water has turned out great and fits in well with the E50 and the E50 fits wonderfully into the terrain. All the more gratifying that everything turned out so well despite the misfortune. 👍👍👍👍
You`re welcome Shar & Pepe!
Thank you!
@Shar: Thanks for your comment, gives me really good motivation 😁
Only the colors of the water and the yellow stripe are more intense in the pictures than in the model.
But I have to say this one is one of my current favorites in my collection 😉
Once again- thank you!
@Simon, may be an odd question but can you tell me the length of the Aber barrel? 😄
Hallo Michael, kein Problem, gerne

Congratulations Simon! Spectacular work as always. I am stunned not only at the modelling, but even more that you did it in just two weeks. Bravo!
Album info
E-50 tank in an alternative variant design.
My idea behind it was to create a slight departure from the previously known E-50/ 75 designs and incorporated elements of Panther and Panther II.
I reduced the original tracks width and used trasport tracks as new standard tracks.
The system of the side sirts is also strongly based on the Panther series, but modified by new and more simplified attachment brackets.
The exhaust is a tribute to M.A.N.'s VK30.02 prototype.
In addition, I had been planning for a long time to equip an E- series tank with full infrared equipment (for commander, gunner and driver).
The E-50 from Modelcollect (UA72178) was used as a basic kit and supplemented by a PE set from Hauler (HLH72132), a Flyhawk tool set (FH72001), a gun barrel from Aber (72L-71), a cable set from Eureka (ER-7204), a new commander cupola (S72442), drive sprockets (S72154) and tracks (S72293) from OKB Grigorov.
One of the most important details of this project, the IR equipment, comes from Armory (AC7332).
In addition, a lot of work has been invested in scratch components.
Everything that has to do with the side skirts, the front and rear fenders, the exhaust, the sheets above the fans, tool holders and tools, handles, cables, a new- now open- turret hatch and much more detail work.
Planning and construction took me a little over two weeks.
For the crew again I used resin figures from GeBo Figuren.
