I'm very sceptical Trumpeter will be able to match the Takom/Meng kits, let alone improve on them. I guess if you're desperate to make an -A version...

Probably not. But it looks like it is going to be a lot less money also, in the mid 50s money. So if you are wanting a new mold Apache to replace the old Revell mold or Kangnam mold but don't want to pay Meng/Takom prices, this would probably be a welcome addition. Most people seem pretty positive towards Trumpeter aircraft.
