Adolf Galland's Bf-109 F2/U (or should that be F-6/U)?

This color scheme kept me awake at night. The only profile I could find (on the internet) for this particular aircraft at that time (Dec 41) showed a white rudder.

After I completed the model, I was paging through Monogram Close up #9 and there on page 15...a Yellow rudder - Aaargh!!

Other mistakes include; the missing head armour that was eaten by the carpet monster, the <-+- that is positioned too far forward (I blame Italeri for that one) and the messy canopy.

Anyway, I got to try preshading and gloss after decals, pinwash and flat coat and I must say the decals look much better. Also I got to use the Eduard seatbelts instead of plain masking tape this time around.
