Fantastic work, Paul! (How was the kit? I have been tempted so many times to purchase it, but I am a bit reluctant due to the complexity of the running gear and tracks...)

thanks folks!. Robert - yes, these IBG 1:72 tank kits are fabulous; go together in an evening or two. Tracks are not too bad - link and length, but lacking positive positioning. I thought getting everything aligned was going to be much more difficult that it actually turned out to be.

Very nice! I am interested in Japanese armor, but I am not coming across many kits that are available, and I haven't had any luck finding good books references.

Top job.
I'm building one. The complexity of the train is horrible. I don't know if I'm going to overcome it. Your result is all the more magnificent.

thanks folks. Yes, I remember the tracks distinctly lacking any guidance or locating pins/features, especially for the small segments around the drive wheels. iirc, I just had to "go for it" and make adjustments while I still had some play in the glue😉
