I used a Pebeo drawing gum marker for the masking. It is an experiment - seems to work well as long as one does this over a very hardy paint. Here it is fine with Mr Hobby Aqueous (over Vallejo MC, the gum marker just scratches off the paint!)

Thanks Guy, Alberto - yes, I was experimenting with a Pebeo drawing gum marker. Works pretty well as long as the paint is tough enough not to be scratched off by the marker - I used Mr Hobby Aqueous, no problem.
