Another 1/100 Battlemech, the Bushwacker, which is my favourite from Battletech/Mechwarrior.
This one is also a 3d printed kit.
Pretty late in the build here so there are not many pictures of the earlier stages but in the end I didn't do much except for cleaning the printed parts, pre-shading with black and white and then applying Tamiya Desert Yellow, followed by some sponge chipping.
After that I sealed everything with Tamiya Gloss Clear, I applied an acrylic wash.
Next up will be the base.

Look's very nice!
What model of 3D printer was used for printing this kit? Surfaces are very smooth

Thanks mates!
Evgeny, I use the Anycubic Photon Mono X for most of my prints. It was also used for this model.
Only thing I am unhappy about with this model is that there is no LRM for the torso. The Bushwacker looks a bit incomplete without it.
Once there is something available I might reprint it (maybe in 1/72) and build another one.

Awesome. It's really surprising how good some of these 3D printed kits are getting now. 👍

Steeply! I've seen thingiverse have tanks walking around WWII, would you like to make them?

Thank you very much guys. The base is still WIP, a bit unsure what to do exactly.
@Motatim: yeah, I'd be happy to take a look at them. 👍

Thanks mate! Haha, there is even a lawnmower/harvester on legs 😄

Managed to finish my Bushwacker not so long ago.
Decided to put it on a simple desert base with acrylic water gel.
Will build one again some day. But in 1:72 scale.

Thanks a lot mates. 🙂
Had some trouble with this. I am not so happy with the clouded canopy. Still need to learn how to handle clear resin better.
For the base I used AK Interactive Water Gel. I think it was the Atlantic one, but I am not sure. After the gel dried I applied a few coats Tamiya clear blue, of which I just applied a few layers near the coast and more and more the deeper the water became.
