I know that it is smaller than 1/72 scale but I may use some jet buckles w/ tape 'm foil belts to dress up the cockpit.

Looking good so far. Just a word of warning on Revell scales - they are never right! Unless they are a Fine Molds or Bandai rebox that is. I have a version of this kit, also marked as 1/78 scale. It is actually way bigger (~215mm length) than the Bandai Resistance X-Wing (~170mm length). It actually scales out to about 1/57 scale, so closer to 1/48 than 1/72 but really about half-way between.

Yeah, @ Uwe - I figured that. I thought if the belts looked slightly smaller it would work.

Got it at a bargain price because the box was dinged up. Perfect for a quick Hobby Link International GB, I hope! Gonna build it in-flight, so I need to find or make a decent stand for it.
