The Calculus Affair (Beechcraft Bonanza)

What a nice box... I searched for this one for a while. 

Not much in the box, but it's a pretty simple plane, really. 

A quick dry fit proves that... 

So let's add some more detail... a rear wall in the cabin, box in the wheel wells... 

The Beechcraft in the Calculus Affair only has two side windows, so time for some putty. 

Quite a lot of putty... I'm trying not to have a ghost window show through. 

Details on the interior... which will hardly be visible, but I'll know it's there. 

Cut out and masked off the windows. 

All fit in place and glued together... more putty. 

First white coat always shows the errors. 

I didn't do a great job on masking that curve, now did I? The blue is too light as well... 

Masking errors fixed, but I still don't like the blue. 

Somehow I managed the smudge the wing too... gah! 

 

A slightly darker shade of blue looks better... just the decals left to do now.
