simply perfect, congratulations, a work of art. what is your opinion of the kit?

The kit is fantastic - really easy to build. The only issue is the way the dome is moulded in 2 halves, which means you have a seam to fill but the kit looks better if you paint it anyway (I used Alclad Polished Aluminium)

they make the dome in two pieces? not the most intelligent design. but yes, i will build it eventually, no matter what😉 thanks a lot Uwe Kaeding

Yes, the dome is split to make it easier to add the blue sections from the inside. If you want to fill the seams and paint it you have to insert some of the blue sections first and mask them off - some you can still insert later.
