I bought a Tamiya Porsche 652, which came in a rather heavy box. This kit was included as a gift.
I started work on this one in march by sanding and polishing the metal body parts. As seems usual for me, back in the box for some time. Prepped the body again yesterday and proceeded with primer and most of the paint

We're getting closer to the end JV. I did some work on the engine. I haven't got a clue if it is original or not, just how I like it.
The body needs a clearcoat, I'll do that in one go with Bee. And then some last stuff to paint like the leather belts and such.

I am starting to get my own ideas now
In the beginning here I would have had to follow a recapi
After sometime here now looking at other ideas
I feal more secure in doing thing differently
I think like hippy guy says make it yours

If you guys knew how hard the temptation is, to open a kit and start building on my knee, then you'd appreciate why I drink at night! However, new cave progress is coming along. I'm currently out of ply for the inside. However, I have 2.5 internal walls complete, and 2 undercoat painted. My plan for today is to get the distribution board wall fully painted, so I can fit the board in the week. Then I can get some power in the place and have better light.

Lol, JV, thanks for the smile! I actually wanted to have it done by now, but when the kids are all on summer vacation, work goes crazy mad! But I just keep pecking away at it, and slowly she's coming together. To add insult to injury, my new passport has arrived! That can only mean one thing. Soon, I'll be in America. Swimming pools and movie stars 😉

JV, you've heard correct. It's down to a lot of things, parents, school, and the government. Personally, I'd send the last 4 decades of my population, to an island somewhere, but that's just my own opinion.

Martin, in the last 40yrs, I believe all the ignorant people got shipped here? The kids ran feral because the government changed our laws. Now, even parents can't touch them!
Love Krystal Clear. I use it on a lot of things. Headlights, clocks, ill fitting glass, and in some cases, mirror glass. It's handy to have in the weaponry 😉

And Krystal is one of the best! It can even be used to simulate moisture on dry stuff.
