I have built the convertible version of the new Revell E-type kit. Lovely detail on this one, but the fit isn't Tamiya level unfortunately.

Marcel, that's exactly what I was talking about, thank you my friend. I was wondering if the convertible, was a new mould or the same one as previous kits? Any chance you would know?

The coupe and convertible both are new moulds. They are mostly the same apart from the roof of course. I have read that because of this the window pillar isn't correct on one of them. Anyway quality is good, solid plastic, no flash. Shame you have to enlarge most holes to make parts fit.

Appreciate your input buddy. I'm curious about the new moulds, so it looks like I'm gonna have to get this set, because for the money, it's a bargain. And I can't be English, unless I have a few Jag's in my garage? Lol, thanks again buddy, if I can ever help, just hit me up 👍

My experience with the new coupe was the same as Marcel's. Good kit and I enjoyed the build. I'd consider the gift set myself even after already building a coupe. Gorgeous cars after all.
