This model was fun, though it did have a few challenges. The overall fit, was really good, though there was some issues at the firewall at the front, which felt odd with everything I have heard about Tamiya kits. My favorite thing about this project was the work in the cockpit and the panel liner wash I used. I used the PLW for Medium Gray from Ammo by Mig and was really nice as it was not as stark as using black would have been, but still highlighted the panel lines clearly. I did still have some issue with my Primer, some other paint and decal issues, but overall it went together well. I also painted the national insignia for the first time, (I know it was just a simple red dot) but it looks really good. I'm really glad I didn't use the decals. Overall, I'm happy with Number 3 for my "Intro Back into Scale Model Building" kits.
