Built the base in under 30 minutes 

My helper wouldn't budge 

Runway base cut and glued 

The "surface" of the cement slabs glued into place. 

Primed the diorama base. 

Painted the basic colour of each concrete slab in the temporary English airfield.

Uh oh, part 22, the truck bed is missing from my Dodge kit. Looks like I am getting into scratch modelling sooner than I expected, green stuff has been ordered.
