Just a few pictures I've taken 2008 during the Tage der Heeresflieger (open day) event on Fritzlar Air Base in Germany.
Sorry it is just a few pictures and you can't see a lot of different stuff. I was more or less a kid back then and didn't think about taking photos of everything.
But I'm older and wiser now. 😄
The Bundeswehr made quite a nice show and the food was also great. Wonderful day.
It's mostly CH-53 and Tiger UHT you see on my pictures.
They also had a larger formation flight with Tiger, CH-53, Bo-105 and the venerable UH-1 if memory serves me right.
Some of the highlights were of course the Tiger and Bo-105 aerobatics but we could also see some demonstrations of fast rappling from the helicopters, parachuters, heavy lifting with the CH-53.
They had also a Tornado on display where you could enter Pilot and WSO seat. And sooo much more.
