Rising Squall: Aegis 2

Some parts of the assembly done. Not sure about the payload yet and not that happy about the details of the pods. Maybe I'll buy some aftermarket stuff.

Landing gear bays painted. The detail is nice, looks busy enough but not too full of detail. 

I added some wire for detailing. Not sure if placed correctly but to me it is more important that it looks good or let's say somewhat believable. 

Decal sheet WIP.
I am using waterslide decal paper for inkjet printers. After printing it needs to be sealed with gloss coat.
There's still some space unused. I will probably place some more decals for other projects before printing.
More or less first time doing something like that, still learning the ropes with the software in general and how to use it best to get everything the right scale. 

Missiles are WIP. The Hornet will be armed with two AIM-9L, two AGM-88, two Mk.82 and one larger JDAM.

Nice contrast, but I believe that I didn't use the right colours. Still looks nice. 

Dryfit engine nozzles. Nozzles recieved some treatment with Vallejo Metal colours by brush.
